Backstroke ClinicThis is an intermediate to advanced level class for lap swimmers who would like to improve their competition style backstroke skills. We will work on correct body position, streamlining, and stroke mechanics through a series of drills. We will also work on wall push offs and circle swimming. The goal is to improve your stroke and overall efficiency to help you get the most enjoyment and benefit from your lap swimming. Golf Posture CinicGood posture and strong core equals good form and good form is essential to great golf. Join expert Pilates trainer Elaine Economou in a two hour workshop that will teach you the basic prinicples of Pilates, take you through a vigorous workout designed by Stott Pilates and mastaer golf instructor Michael Hunt, lead Master Instructor of the Jim McLean Golf School, and gain insight into your own postural target areas. You will leave the workshop with information specific to strenghtening your own posture, a handout detailing the workout exercises and your own toning ball for your home practice. Note: this is not a swing workshop. The goal is to teach the principles of posture to support your golf game.
