Lisa Garypie, B.A., B.A., NCTMB
Lisa graduated from the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy and has been practicing for over 8 years. She is nationally certified and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Prior to her massage career, she spent 14 years in corporate finance and public relations with a FORTUNE 500 company after graduating from Albion College with a B.A. Lisa's expertise centers around injury, post-operative and chronic pain massage which includes circulatory and swelling issues, lymphedema, scar tissue reduction and rehabilitation complications from a chronic illness/pain or trauma accident. Previously, she worked for 3 years at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for a surgical group performing post-opperative therapeutic massage on their patients. Her cetifications include Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sport, Geriatric, and Pregnancy Massage. She is also trained in Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Reflexology, Piriformis Syndrome, and Rheumatoid Arthritis Massage. |
