You’ve invested in yourself by securing a gym membership, but are you taking advantage of all the benefits your membership offers? With work, family and a busy schedule it’s easy to overlook how your gym can offer you more than what’s on the fitness floor. Here’s a few ways you can make the most of your gym membership:
Set a regular workout schedule—Whether you schedule time first thing in the morning or later in the evening, it’s important to plan time to work out in your schedule. Your gym membership at the Center gives you full access to state-of-the-art equipment that will give you the results you want. There’s a wide range of machines and equipment for cardio and strength training to add variety to your workout. A set schedule to work out ensures that you commit to using the Center to support your health and fitness goals.
Try a group exercise class—Group exercise classes are included for FREE with your gym membership. This is a great opportunity to learn new techniques, get motivation from your classmates and try a variety of workout disciplines that are fun and effective.
Utilize our fitness specialists—Our degreed and certified fitness specialists are here to support your health and fitness goals. They can provide help and assistance during a group exercise class or individualized attention and advice during a personal training session. Personal training sessions teach you how to use equipment safely and effectively as well as proper form and technique.
Get a FREE fitness assessment—The Polar BodyAge® assessment is a FREE and accurate evaluation of your current fitness status. This assessment can give you the information you need to set goals for your health and fitness. As you train toward your goals, a follow-up assessment will show you your progress and encourage you to continue to improve your fitness status.
