Chelsea Wellness Center offers an exclusive aquatic area with many programs for members to enjoy. Our beautiful center includes a 25-yard lap pool along with a warm water therapy pool. Our aquatic area and certified instructors offer the perfect platform for many unique classes and programs.
Whether you want to learn how to swim, improve your stroke efficiency, increase the productivity of your aquatic workout or add variety to your routine, we can help. The one-on-one sessions will be designed by a qualified instructor to assist you in reaching your individual goals. You will feel confident and safe in the water while improving your stroke and increasing your muscular strength and endurance. Group Exercise Classes are available for members and non-members.
This course is for those who are already somewhat comfortable treading or swimming in deep water. The goal is to learn the freestyle from the ground up, starting with the basics: floating face down, moving up to and maintaining horizontal body position, and creating forward momentum by adding the flutter kick and arm strokes. Through a series of drills, we will learn to maintain a correct, streamlined body position while practicing stroke mechanics and building endurance. Held in the Lap Pool.

A great class to introduce your child to the water. Parent and child will explore fun ways to enjoy the water and learn the fundamentals of swimming and floating.

Open Water Swim Class is geared for triathletes and competitive or non-competitive swimmers who want to improve their technique, endurance, and comfort in the open water. We will work on stroke mechanics, body position and overall stroke efficiency, marker/buoy sighting, tight group swimming, run-outs and other aspects unique to open water swimming. Workouts will vary and will have a mix of drills, sprints, short and long swims, easy and hard swimming session.
Master Swim Program (October – May)
Master Swim is for competitive and non-competitive adult swimmers or fitness enthusiast looking to improve time and fitness level. Must comfortably swim free style at least 100 yards.
