Implementing healthy eating habits can be a challenge. Keep these four easy eating tips in mind to help you lose fat, build muscle, and improve your overall health.
Boost your protein with omega-3s – Along with lean meats consider fish as a healthy protein. Fish contain omega-3 fatty acids linked to improved heart, bone, muscle and brain health.
Consider plants as a protein source – Consuming more protein from plants decreases risk of heart disease while supporting your immune system and fighting fat.
Eat breakfast like a king – Eating more calories earlier in the day can lessen junk food cravings and take advantage of the optimal metabolic activity time, helping you trim your belly.
Practice mindful eating – Taking the time to be mindful while you eat can make your food taste better and helps problems associated with overeating like weight-gain and poor digestion.
